Education Night : "Women and the Path to Recovery"

There are progressive thinkers in the field of substance abuse treatment that want to move from a “one size fits some” to the goodness of fit for individualized care, especially for women.

Join us for an evening of education about women and overcoming substance use disorder.  You will learn:

  • Fundamentals of substance use disorder (signs of distress, diagnostic criteria)
  • How gender-specific treatment for women differs from general treatment
  • American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Levels of Care and how they are determined
  • Signs a loved one is struggling and what to do next
  • What makes treatment offered by Women's Recovery (Denver and Summit) so special?
